
MINI BIOGRAPHY
Marcina Arnold is a seasoned singer, musician with a rich highly emotive and distinctive voice. UK based Marcina’s multi ethnic background reflects her musical diversity and she is at ease singing Blues, Jazz, Soul RnB, Folk,,Gospel, Bossa Nova and World music .
Marcina has sung with the Late Great South African Jazz Composer Pianist Bheki Mseleku. She has toured South Africa with Eugene Skeef’s Ngoma Project with the vocal group Shades appearing on South African National TV singing dancing & percussion.
Collaborations include folk Artist Hughie Flint, Blues Guitarist Alan Scratch Prof Jones, British Saxophonist Steve Williamson, British Trumpeter Byron Wallen with whom she recorded on his first 2 albums the 1st album Sound Advice produced by Brasilian Percussionist Airto Moreira. Chart success in Japan with - Jazz Funk group Akimbo. Featuring on recordings with Peruvian Guitarist Manu Ventura, and the classic Quite Sane Album A Child of Troubled Times. She has filmed and acted in her own self made 1 short screenplay Another MH Day tackling the sensitive subject of mental health.
